Rules for authors

Articles are submitted to the editorial office through the system of the electronic publishing house of the journal "Health of Kyrgyzstan" (https://zdrav.kg/) in accordance with its requirements for the preparation of articles. For the correct submission of the article, read the "Instructions for Authors".

The journal accepts the following types of publications:

Original article

The article should describe the results of the completed research. The volume of the article is allowed up to 20 typewritten pages, including figures, tables. The article should contain: 1) introduction; 2) materials and methods; 3) research results; 4) discussion of the results; 5) thanks

The introduction contains the rationale for the purpose and objectives of the study.

Materials and methods can be presented as separate fragments with short subtitles.

All non-traditional method modifications should be described in sufficient detail. For all reagents used in the work, animals, cell cultures, etc. it is necessary to indicate exactly the manufacturers and / or sources of receipt (with the names of the country, company, institute).
The results are described in a logical sequence in the form of separate fragments, separated by subheadings, without elements of discussion,without repeating methodological details, without duplicating the numerical data given in tables and figures.

In the discussion, a detailed analysis of the obtained data is carried out in comparison with literature data, which serves as a justification for the conclusions and conclusions of the authors.
The Acknowledgments section is optional, but highly recommended. In this section, the authors may acknowledge the organization that funded the research, colleagues who advised the work during its execution and/or writing, and technical staff for assistance in carrying out the research. Acknowledgments for providing specific reagents or equipment are usually placed in the Materials and Methods section.

Brief messages

The journal publishes articles that are small in volume and have unconditional novelty and significance. These articles are peer-reviewed and published in a short time. The total volume of a short communication is limited to 8 typewritten pages, the number of figures and / or tables cannot exceed 3, and the list of references used should not exceed 15. The title page is formatted as described below. The sections of the short message are similar to the sections of the original article described above, but are not distinguished by headings and subheadings, the results can be stated along with the discussion.

Review articles and lectures

Review articles and lectures are mostly commissioned by the editors or may be recommended by one of the members of the editorial board. More detailed information about the rules for the design of these articles can be found in the editorial office.

References to literary sources in the text of the article, in figures and tables are indicated by Arabic numerals in square brackets [1, 2, 3,...]. References to dissertations, abstracts of dissertations, publications in collections, methodological documents of the local level are not allowed. The number of sources is not limited. Each reference contains all the authors of the work. Unpublished articles are not included in the list.

Symbols, abbreviations and units of measurement

For complex terms or names most frequently used in the text of the article, you can enter (in parentheses after the first mention of the full name of the term) no more than 3-5 non-traditional abbreviations. Abbreviations legalized by international nomenclatures are used in the corresponding transcription. For example, for the term "interleukin" the abbreviation "IL" is used, and not the Russian version of "IL"; similarly, abbreviations are used: "TNF", not "TNF" or "TNF"; "CD", not "SD". The names of microorganisms are given in the original transcription using italics (E. coli, Streptococcus pyogenes). Units of measurement are given without a dot after their abbreviation (s, h, cm, ml, mg, kDa, etc.), regulated by international rules.

Design of illustrative material

Illustrative material must be original, that is, not previously published anywhere.

The total number of illustrations (tables and figures) should not exceed eight. With more illustrations, their publication is paid by the author. The publication of color illustrations (regardless of their number) is also paid by the author.

Illustration sizes:

maximum height - 210 mm
maximum width for 1 column - 82 mm, for 2 columns - 170 mm

Tables. Each table is provided as a separate file. Tables are numbered with Arabic numerals separately from the numbering of figures (graphs). and photographs). The title is printed above the table. All text in Russian contained in the table, including units of measurement, must be translated into English; in this case, the translation should be placed in a cell with the corresponding Russian text on a separate line. The title of the table and the text of the notes to it must also be translated into English and given under the Russian text on a new line (see sample). For marks in tables, one or more (*) should be used. Explanations are printed after the corresponding quantity (*) below the table. Units of measure are included in the row or column headings, if necessary.

Drawings (graphs and photographs). In the text of the article, the names of figures (graphs, photographs) and tables are placed immediately after the paragraph, where they are first referenced. All figures are numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals as they are used in the text of the article. The names of the figures and their captions are given as a list in a separate file. The list contains: figure number, title (with a capital letter), text of notes (for microphotographs, magnification must be indicated). Figure captions are short but informative enough. The titles of figures and notes to them, figure captions, legend text must be translated into English and placed under the corresponding text on a new line (see sample). Figures can be submitted in graphic formats with the extension .tiff (resolution of at least 300 dpi at 100% scale), .eps or . ai. Images embedded in Word documents are not accepted. Graphs and charts are provided together with the tables from which they were created, or with numerical designations of indicators displayed by the corresponding graphic elements (bars, sectors, etc.) in the form of files with extensions .doc or, preferably, .xls.

Article Publishing Fee

Subject to the rules, the publication of articles in the journal Health of Kyrgyzstan is free of charge for authors and institutions in which they work. The editors may require payment in the following cases: 1) for the publication of color illustrations; 2) with a large amount of illustrative material (over 8 illustrations).

Preparation of articles

To submit an article, authors must confirm the following points. An article may be rejected if it does not comply with them.

1. By submitting an article to the journal, the authors guarantee that the submitted materials have not been previously published in whole or in part, in any form, in any place or in any language. The authors also guarantee that the article is not submitted for consideration and publications in another journal. From the moment the article is accepted for publication in the journal Health of Kyrgyzstan, the material presented in it cannot be published by the authors in whole or in part in any form, in any place and in any language without the consent of the journal's management. An exception may be: 1) preliminary or subsequent publication of the article materials in the form of abstracts or a short summary; 2) using the materials of the article as part of a lecture or review; 3) the use by the author of the materials submitted to the journal when writing a dissertation, book or monograph. Reproduction in whole or in part by any means is prohibited without the written permission of the publishers. Violation of the law will be prosecuted.   • Indicate for which section of the journal the work is intended: lecture, review, original article, short message.
  • The date the work was sent.

2) A scanned copy of the file with metadata signed by all authors (when uploaded to the system, it is given the name "Signatures of authors")

3) Title page (when loaded into the system, it is given the name "Title page"), in the form:

* the title of the article (without using any abbreviations) (in Russian and English);
*Surname and initials of other co-authors, their academic degrees, academic titles, positions. (in full, in Russian and English);

*department and institution in which the work was performed (If the authors of the article are employees of different institutions, then the latter are numbered in order, starting from one, and the corresponding figure is placed after the name of the author representing this institution. For marking authors in the English part of the article Latin letters are used instead of numbers (a, b, c, d, etc.));

*abbreviated title of the article for the header (no more than 35 characters, including spaces and punctuation marks) (in Russian and English);

*at least 6 keywords in Russian and English (in Russian and English);

*address for correspondence with phone number, fax number and e-mail address.

 4) Summary (when uploading to the system, it is given the name "Summary") in the form of one paragraph without references and specific abbreviations. Volume - not less than 300 words. The abstract in full must also be translated into English. In some cases, by decision of the editorial board, a detailed version of the summary in English may be requested.

5) Figures, if any - each in a separate file (when uploading to the system, each figure is given the name "Figure_Serial number of the figure. Name of the figure").

6) A file in .doc, .docx, .rtf format, with a list that indicates: figure number, title (with a capital letter), notes text (magnification must be indicated for microphotos). Figure captions are short but informative enough.

7) Tables, if any - each in a separate file (The name of each table must be given as a heading in the file with the table itself).

8) A file with cited literature (when loaded into the system, it is given the name "Literature"), in the following form:

4. The text is typed with one and a half line spacing; font size is used in 14 points; italics are used for emphasis, not underlining (with the exception of Internet addresses); all links to illustrations, graphs and tables are located in the appropriate places in the text and not at the end of the document.
5. The text complies with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the Rules for Authors, located on the "About the Journal" page.
6. If you submit an article to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, then you agree to the requirements of Blind Peer Review, which can be found in more detail in the Peer Review section on the "About the Journal" page.

1.
